NASCAR FANS ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE WEATHER IN TALLADEGA

The NASCAR Cup Series is back at the iconic Talladega Superspeedway this weekend for the GEICO 500, but Mother Nature may have other plans for Sunday.

Multiple weather reports for the state of Alabama show that rain is in the forecast for Sunday. Temperatures are set to drop to the 50s and rain is currently at around 97- to 100-percent.

But the forecast is easily rough for the other days of the weekend and could force NASCAR to scrap or reschedule several other race days as well.

As a result, NASCAR might be forced to move the race to Monday. That's a situation fans are not looking forward to.

"Bummer for those going, it means the races are going to be ferocious, usually meaning more wrecks. If I were there, it'd be beautiful out, one year I'll be back James! Sending you guys luck for sunshine instead of rain at (Talladega)," one user wrote.

"Less than ideal conditions Sunday afternoon at Talladega. Nothing worse than a chilly rain at the race track. The system does clear out quickly and conditions look great on Monday. #NASCAR," wrote another.

"I was really looking forward to a great weekend at @TALLADEGA , but apparently they forgot the Mother Nature payoff this year. @nascar cup teams will want to make sure they have the rain covers. Not a good look! 🤦 c-ya on Monday," a third wrote.

Will we get a race on Sunday, or will the GEICO 500 be moved to Monday instead?
